What is PaintRush?
PaintRush is a platform for creating and selling art commissions. It's a place where artists can find work and clients, and where clients can find relevant creators and get assets in hours or minutes.
Okay, but what makes it different from the other ones?
Good question! We differ from similar platforms in a few key ways:
- Our focus is on fast, real-time commissions where the client can see the artist work live.
- We have an algorithm that matches artists with relevant requests based on their style, interests, and talent.
- We're always looking for fun, new ways to connect artists with clients!
While we do offer traditional commission services, our bread and butter is giving immediate feedback, avoiding long delays, and making sure the client gets what they want. We're also committed to our community, and will do our best to listen to feedback and improve the platform.
Will my request stay private?
Absolutely! Unless you explicitly opt in to allowing your work to be posted, your commission will stay between you and the artist. Customer profiles are not visible to the public, and reviews of clients are only shown to other artists you work with. We protect your privacy, and never sell your data to third parties.
Is generative AI content allowed on the platform?
We do not allow creators to use generative AI to create content for our platform, especially that of models trained on others' artwork without consent. We want to ensure a good experience for both artists and clients, and our focus on livestreamed art progress should help to ensure that all work acquired here is made by hand.
How do I join as an artist?
Just create an account, fill out the application, and wait for us to review it. You'll need to provide a portfolio of your work, any social media you have, and a bit about yourself; if you know any artists on the platform, you can have them vouch for you by sending them your recommendation link. After that, you'll be able to start accepting requests!
How will I get paid?
Once your artist profile is approved, simply link your bank account in your settings, and we'll handle the rest. Payment will be sent as soon as your work is completed!
