PaintRush rules
These rules keep PaintRush safe, fair, and fun for everyone. They apply to all usage of the platform, including profiles, streams, posts, chat, messages, and requests. Some rules and definitions are inspired by our sister project’s policies.
General rules
- Follow the law. Respect copyright and don’t post or solicit illegal content.
- No harassment or hate. Don’t target or demean others based on identity or personal characteristics, and don’t encourage others to do so.
- No spam or automation abuse. Don’t flood chats, DMs, or listings, and don’t use bots or scripts without our explicit permission.
- Respect privacy. Don’t share others’ personal information or make invasive, inappropriate comments.
- No impersonation or fake accounts. Don’t misrepresent yourself or your affiliations.
- Don’t abuse the platform. Avoid exploiting rate limits, moderation tools, matching, review systems, or other site features.
- Zero tolerance for exploitation of minors. This includes sexual content featuring or depicting minors or encouraging illegal activity.
- Chargebacks are not allowed. Initiating a chargeback may lead to a permanent ban. If you believe you were billed incorrectly, open a dispute with us.
Content rules
- Label sensitive content. Graphic violence or sexual content is not allowed in public listings. Sensitive material must be properly marked and is hidden by default.
- No generative AI trained on others’ work without consent. AI or AI-assisted content using non-consensual datasets is not allowed on PaintRush.
- Respect creators’ rights. Don’t post others’ work without permission. This includes edits and derivatives.
- Consent matters. Sensitive commissions are allowed only with explicit consent from all parties and must remain private unless everyone opts in to sharing.
